Its September the 8th, waiting for my girl friend's usual 9:30 PM call I have just finished to complete "The Other Side of me" just in the nick of time.
For those who haven't heard this book's name it gives me a great honor to tell that this is the autobiography of the greatest and my most admired English novelist of all, "Sidney Sheldon".
I was truely amazed to see a person of his stature go through so many ups and downs in life that I hardly believe that the hardships we face in our daily lives is anything comparable to him.
Its true we admire a person whom we see under the limelight or on the silver screen, but how many times have we thought of what it takes to be be there? Its true that neither name nor fame comes easily to anyone(read if u start from scratch) but it is amazing to know what it takes to know what it takes to get it, sorry acquire it!!
I have heard people reach the zenith of thei domain but definitely its more amazing when you come to know the full story specially like the one Sidney Sheldon has narrated about himself.
Being an ardent follower of his novels (till now having read 10 of them and counting) and also getting a chance to see one of his television series "I dream of Jeannie" I feel more and more a patriot of his novel and screenplay writing skills. Although he is no more in this world today, but still I feel, his charm and way of story writing would continue to make his fan list bigger and bigger!!
